Why Royal SJ

Two people, 17 years of sourcing, one simple idea

Restaurants shouldn't overpay for the basics. Royal SJ Group was built by two people who spent their careers on the supply side and got tired of watching independent operators pay three markups for a container that costs pennies to make.

The founders

We've spent 17 years learning what this stuff should actually cost

Mr. Jeevan and Mr. Hemant didn't come to restaurant supply from the outside. They came up in it. Between them they've spent 17 years sourcing food packaging, disposables, and kitchen essentials — walking factory floors, testing product that looked fine until you put hot food in it, and building relationships with the makers who actually deliver.

That history is not a line on an about page. It's the entire reason this business can do what it does. When you've spent 17 years each learning which factory makes a deli container that survives a delivery bag and which one cuts the wall too thin, you stop guessing. You know what good product costs before three layers of distributors mark it up. And you can buy it direct.

Here's how restaurant supply usually works: a container gets made, sold to a national distributor, marked up, sold to a regional one, marked up again, then sold to your local rep, who marks it up once more. By the time you pay, the price has little to do with what the container cost to make. Jeevan and Hemant built Royal SJ to cut that chain short.

And they're not stopping at packaging. Through the same direct network across India, Nepal, the UAE, and the US, the pantry is coming next — rice, grains, spices, and organic staples, sourced the same way, priced the same honest way.

If you're a small operator who's been treated like a rounding error by the big distributors, you're exactly who they built this for.

How we keep prices low

Cheaper isn't a trick. Here's the actual math.

When something's a lot cheaper, a smart buyer gets suspicious. Good. Here's why our prices are lower, so you can decide for yourself.

How restaurant supply usually works
Factory National distributor + markup Regional distributor + markup Local rep + markup Your kitchen
The Royal SJ way
FactoryRoyal SJYour kitchenThe middle, removed

We buy direct, keep overhead thin, and know what things should cost after 17 years on factory floors. What we don't do is cut quality to hit a price — the savings come from the supply chain, not the container. It's the same grade the established brands sell.

The credibility case

Anyone can say they're cheaper. Here's what's behind it.

01

We buy direct

No national distributor, no regional rep, no three-markup chain between the factory and your kitchen.

02

We know product

We don't overpay at the source because we know what things should cost and who makes them well. Same grade the big names carry.

03

We keep the range deep

Containers, cups, gloves, foil, bags, cleaning, paper. The whole back of house, one supplier, in stock.

04

Small orders, big respect

No membership wall, no minimum that locks out the little shop. Today's two-case buyer is next year's twenty-case account.

Real orders, real kitchens

Same containers, almost 20% less per case
Switched our deli containers over about four months ago. Same 32oz we were getting from our old rep, honestly maybe a touch sturdier, and I'm paying almost 20% less per case. Delivery's been on time every single order.

Holds heat, doesn't leak on the drive
We run three ghost kitchen brands out of one space so packaging is basically our storefront. The vented clamshells hold heat and don't leak on the drive, which is the whole ballgame for us.

Best per-piece glove price I've found
Gloves are solid, nitrile doesn't rip like the cheap vinyl we used to buy, and the per-piece price is the best I've found. One box came a day late once — they sorted it out fast.

The promise, in one line

Same quality the big distributors sell. Lower cost, because we removed the middle.

Backed by 17 years of knowing exactly what we are buying.
